Thinking about whether to separate or divorce?
Or maybe you or your spouse, or both of you together, have made the decision.
You may be relieved or sad or hurt or even angry. But you care about the other person and you'd prefer to separate kindly. You'd like help talking and making decisions with your spouse. Help navigating the process. You want to be okay on the other side and you want your spouse to be okay. If you have kids, you want them to be okay. If this sounds like you, the We Mediate Team can help. We have the resources to assist you through the hard conversations, to sort through the details, reach an agreement and get it through the court system. We are here to help you lay a foundation for your future. |
To Begin - Choose an Initial Consultation or a Process Option Session:
Initial Consultation
If you think Mediation (one mediator) or Collaborative Mediation (a team) is the process you'd like to use, or if you'd just like to meet us to see if we're a fit, our services begin with an Initial Consultation with our Mediators.
We'll introduce ourselves, have you share a bit about your marriage or relationship, discuss the process, and explore the possible composition of your team.
We suggest you bring a list of questions. We'll do our best to get all your questions answered during the Initial Consultation.
Initial Consultations generally last about an hour, sometimes up to an hour and a half.
The cost is $150 an hour. You can pay at the time by credit card, check or cash.

Divorce Process Exploratory Session
The Process Option Session is designed for couples that don't know what type of divorce process would be best for them.
At this exploratory session, you'll meet with Lee. We'll discuss your marriage, your relationship and its challenges, as well as finances and children. Then I'll explain all of the divorce process options: Traditional attorney representation, mediation, collaborative mediation, the collaborative law process, and litigation.
My goal will be to help you choose the option that best option for your family. Then, if you wish, I'll assist in helping you find professionals who are a good fit. This process does not require you to work with Lee. We'll draw upon my knowledge and contacts with professionals in the divorce community to help you find professionals with whom you'll feel comfortable.
